Looks like X-Y is OK
Z-wanky?

Put in an entry for 130mm (130,132.58)

Segmentize seems to go OK

Just crappy Z

Chromeville working on it

This pulley was made with longer tab to get pulley
to ride up/down in slot

seems like a real pain to get line in groove.

The scale looks off on one or the other parts. I sized it so a string is thicker than the gap between the pulley and holder. I usually have to sand the pulley tp get it to turn without touching.

Wally printing
after 4 hotends
Now a E3Dv5 hotend

Something wrong with X-Y
things not circular and step along X with layers
Got to adjust retraction on no squirt moves

What's wrong in segmentize or printing

There are things wrong with segmentize that we are trying to correct but that is worse than the tilt that I get. As a guess, I would say that the part should have printed in the middle. Check your value you put in for straight arms.

Print quality looks pretty good. You might need to increase your retraction but overall very good.

I am hearing lots of good things about the E3D. The Ubis clones I am getting from QU-BD will need to be actively cooled. I am going to try that out tonight and see if they will stop melting out of the top of the hot end.

Nick can you please show where these measurements are made?

#the z height where the bed arms are at 90 degrees

#LENGTH OF ARMS

#DISTANCE BETWEEN SHOULDERS

#DISTANCE FROM BED ARM ATTACHMENT TO THE CENTER OF THE BED IN THE Y DIRECTION
y_offset

#Using "G1 X? Y?" to find the machine coordinates that make the arms colinear
straight_forearms

trying to fix wild slant in Z and non square/circle prints (wide Y)

Tnx

#the z height where the bed arms are at 90 degrees

#LENGTH OF ARMS
150mm #bolt to bolt on the arms

#DISTANCE BETWEEN SHOULDERS
250mm #bolt to bolt on the shoulders

#DISTANCE FROM BED ARM ATTACHMENT TO THE CENTER OF THE BED IN THE Y DIRECTION
y_offset
37.5mm #from the arm attachment on the bed to where you want the center in the y direction

#Using "G1 X? Y?" to find the machine coordinates that make the arms colinear
straight_forearms

For the last one slowly increment X and Y together from the home position until the forearms are in line with each other. If you have the steps/mm right and the X and Y values are the same you should stay on the y-axis.

I would like to know from where to where measurements are?

Wally Chrome different than yours.

Can you show on pix or drawing?

Wally chrome still printing on angle
and changing parameters doesn't do much
