Per attached drawing:
are there two boards on all sides?

@Cozmicray: That diagram that you attached is only reference to what I suggested people do if they want to lasercut Wally out of 5mm flatstock. Using two boards per side allows you to "countersink" with a laser. Note: I have never made a lasercut Wally. I just made it to help out others.

Now the file name makes sense LCWally --Laser Cut Walley

So Wally just needs 1 backboard
with each layout on each side?

The V is a 5mm tough for wires

NYC MF Wally was just ONE 1/2" birch ply board on back

for that matter 1/2" board all around?

are there any other NOT Thru holes

I'm taking pics at each step here
for maybe a build wiki?

Sorry to be a pain --
but I couldn't find the detailed Wally instructions

Your "Kids" (Small machinists, fabricators, and Mechanical engineers)
will have to make them up in English class

@Cozmicray: All that you say is correct including the need for instructions. Working on them but as you can imagine good instruction will take time. For now you can reference the STLs. Don't be shy about asking for an clarification during your build.

How does Z-Axis Idler pulley holder attach to table?

Has hex capture holes on inside.
This has to be pretty sturdy to lift bed and part weight.
Is a bracket missing?

Really NEED an ASSEMBLY Drawing.

Does that help?

Hi, where can the LCWally file(s) be found? I am looking to use a laser cutter for the backboard and other parts (no access to CNC milling maching).

Thanks! :D

@qwrty:

I never designed it properly for LC but this should give you a good starting place.
