That is only true if the shoulder radius and wrist radius are the same. If you look at my code, which you did, there is shoulder radius minus wrist radius. This comes out to zero in our design but it might not, depending on your actual measurements.

i know this post is old. i tried your version of marlin. but i am confused are you using the end stops as min or max? in the config file they seem to be used as min.

i am 90 percent with my build and i am now tryin out the firmware

i tried using it as max endstops and the homing sequence just throws one arm beyond the max length after finding the first endstop.

appreciate your input
